With a snow storm in the forecast, we would like to remind/notify our residents of several important things.
- We are not MB Hydro. Should you experience any power issues, please contact MB Hydro at 204-480-5900 or toll free at 1-888-624-9376.
- Please get prepared prior to the storm and stay safe. More information can be found at getprepared.gc.ca , including emergency kits, resources, and much more.
- Our grader operators will make their best efforts to make it in and clear the roads of any snow, weather permitting. Poor visibility and/or road closures may result in a delay in snow clearing operations. Please remember to remove your vehicles from the road to allow room for snow clearing operations, whenever possible.
- Our landfill operators will make their best efforts to make it in to open up the landfills during regular hours, weather permitting.
- Should you lose power, be sure to check your ground sump pumps and septic pumps. Regulate the water levels in your sump pump pit, reduce water usage. Should levels get too high, you may need to bail out water.
