Reminder that the Rosenort Community Gardens deadline is this Friday! Please send in your forms to info@rmofmorris.ca if you wish to apply for a garden plot.
Plot registration for the 2026 Rosenort Community Gardens is now open. The registration form and garden guidelines are attached for anyone wishing to apply.
Due to the limited number of plots available this year, plots will be assigned through a lottery system. If you would like to apply for a plot, please submit to your registration form by April 17, 2026. Applicants selected though the lottery will be assigned a plot and all applicants will be notified once the draw is complete.
FAQ’s
- How will water be provided?
Water will be available through taps installed at the gardens and supplied from the river.
- Will the plots be tilled?
Yes.
- Will the plots be marked?
Yes.
- When will the garden be ready?
This will depend on the weather. Once the plots are tilled and ready for planting, selected gardeners will receive an email notification at the address provided on their registration form. Ath this time, we anticipate the gardens being ready between late April and early May.
- Will I receive the same plot as last year?
You may request a specific plot on your registration form. While we will do our best to accommodate request for those selected, we cannot guarantee specific plot assignments.
