The RM of Morris is asking our residents to reduce water consumption. We have been advised by the Pembina Valley Water Coop, who supply us with drinking water, that their systems are running at capacity, or more, and in the event of a breakdown there would only be 6 to 8 hours of water supply available to the RM.
The situation is urgent and these next couple days are critical to help the water plants catch up with production.
Please only use water when absolutely necessary, avoid non-essential uses such as watering plants.
